Renewable Energy Dashboard Solar Asset Registry

The Renewable Energy Dashboard monitors on-site renewable energy generation and consumption. It tracks how much clean energy your organisation generates, consumes, and exports to the grid.

Setup Requirements

Three prerequisites must be met before this dashboard populates:

  1. Solar systems created in Asset Registry (Admin panel)
  2. Each system linked to an existing Node/facility
  3. Production data uploaded through the Task Manager
Multiple solar systems can be assigned to a single facility location.

Performance Metrics

  • Year-to-date renewable generation (kWh)
  • Environmental impact in COโ‚‚ equivalents and tree-planting metrics
  • Percentage of solar energy used on-site versus exported
  • Renewable energy's share of total consumption

Visual Analytics

  • Monthly production chart โ€” shows generation, on-site consumption, grid exports, and grid usage
  • Energy consumption donut chart โ€” displays the balance between renewable and grid energy
  • Renewable usage donut chart โ€” compares self-consumed vs exported renewable energy
  • Hardware specifications โ€” system capacity and battery storage details

How It Works

After configuring assets and uploading production data through the Task Manager, the dashboard populates automatically with performance metrics. Avoided emissions calculations integrate into your finalised reports.

Troubleshooting

Blank dashboard
Both solar system creation (in Admin) and data uploads (via Task Manager) are required. Check that both steps have been completed.
Incorrect export values
This is often caused by swapped meter data. Review your uploaded data to ensure generation, consumption, and export figures are in the correct columns.
