How to invite team members and external advisors

Last updated: 10 April 2026

User Management Invitations Advisor Panel

NetNada facilitates teamwork through two distinct invitation pathways: one for internal staff and another for external professional partners. The platform functions as a centralised hub supporting extended reporting cycles.

Internal Team Invitations

To involve colleagues in carbon inventory management:

1

Navigate to Admin > Invites

Open the sidebar and go to Admin > Invites.
2

Select Team Members tab

Switch to the Team Members tab and generate an invite link.
3

Distribute the link

Share the invite link internally through email or messaging systems. This allows team members to join and start contributing to data collection.

This delegation model allows organisations to spread data collection responsibilities across departments.

External Advisor Partnerships

For consultant or auditor engagement:

1

Access Advisors tab

Navigate to Admin > Invites and switch to the Advisors tab.
2

Generate an advisor invite

Generate an advisor-specific invite link for external firms. Alternatively, enter a provided code using Enter Invite Code to establish an immediate connection.
3

Advisor access

Once connected, advisors gain the ability to access your account, contribute information, and verify documentation.

Advisor Panel Operations

Professional firms using the Advisor Panel can independently initiate client relationships:

  • Use + New Client to onboard organisations
  • Use Link Existing Client to connect with established NetNada users
  • Monitor client progress across inventory completions and collaborator involvement
The framework is designed for extended projects typically spanning 6โ€“12 months. See the Advisor Panel article for full details on managing a client portfolio.

FAQ

Can I control what a team member can see or do?
Currently, all team members have access to the full account. Role-based permissions are on the roadmap. For external parties, use the Advisor invite pathway which provides a separate access model.
Can I revoke access after inviting someone?
Yes. Contact your account administrator or the NetNada support team to remove a user's access.
What is the difference between a team member and an advisor?
Team members are internal to your organisation โ€” they work within your account. Advisors are external professionals (consultants, auditors) who can access your account from their own Advisor Panel and may manage multiple client organisations.
Is there a limit to how many people I can invite?
There is no hard limit on the number of team members or advisors you can invite.
