Data Uploader Walkthrough

What You Will Learn

The NetNada Data Uploader is a powerful engine designed to process your data for carbon emissions. This guide covers the full upload workflow from template selection to final import.

Upload Workflow

1

Access the Data Uploader

Navigate to the Data Uploader from the main menu or directly from a task in the Task Manager.
2

Browse and select a template

Browse available upload templates, filtering by scope or searching by name. If you need a template that isn't available, you can request one.
3

Review materiality analysis

Visualise which data points matter for your organisation based on your emissions scope and organisational structure.
4

Select the organisational unit

Choose the appropriate node (facility, region, or business unit) that this data relates to before starting the upload.
5

Review required fields

Understand which fields are mandatory and which are optional for your selected template.
6

Upload your data

Upload your file. The system examines the file structure and intelligently maps your data using AI, performing initial validation automatically.
7

Handle validation issues

The system flags critical gaps โ€” such as missing currency information โ€” and prevents problematic file imports. Review and fix any issues highlighted.
8

Complete the import

Perform final format verification and review before your data enters the NetNada dashboard ecosystem.
The AI-powered data mapping means you don't need to match your spreadsheet columns to a specific format. The system will intelligently map your data fields automatically.
