Emissions Modelling & Manual Entry
Not all emissions calculations happen in NetNada. The Modelling feature lets you input pre-calculated figures from consultants, external tools, or historical records—centralising all your carbon data with proper documentation and audit trail.
How It Works
Some emissions data comes pre-calculated from external sources—consultant reports, specialised tools, historical assessments. Rather than losing visibility of this data, the Modelling feature integrates it into your centralised carbon inventory with full documentation.
Select Organisational Node
Choose which business unit or facility the emissions belong to. The dropdown shows all configured nodes, ensuring emissions are attributed to the correct organisational location.
Upload Supporting Evidence
Attach the source documentation—consultant reports, external calculation spreadsheets, historical records. These documents become part of your permanent audit trail, explaining how figures were derived.
Enter Pre-Calculated Values
Input emissions values in tCO₂e (default unit). The system accepts emissions figures calculated externally using methodologies you specify. Add contextual notes explaining data sources and calculation approaches.
Categorise by GHG Category
Select the appropriate GHG category for each entry—Stationary Combustion, Purchased Electricity, Business Travel, etc. This ensures proper scope classification and dashboard categorisation.
Specify Time Period
Define start and end dates for the emissions period. The system automatically distributes annual figures across months for consistent dashboard visualisation.
Save and Integrate
Submit entries to integrate into your carbon inventory. Manual entries populate the Emissions Dashboard alongside calculated data, with supporting files linked in the audit trail.
