Multi-Node Workflows

Move from one-file-at-a-time to one-batch-for-the-whole-organisation. Upload up to 100 invoices or data files in a single session — NetNada's AI matches each file to the correct site, applies the right regional emission factors, and lets you review every document side-by-side with the extracted data before submitting.

How It Works

Multi-Node Workflows turn quarterly data collection from a per-file grind into a single named batch. Here's the flow.

1

Pick the sites you're uploading for

Select multiple nodes — facilities, regions, business units, or subsidiaries — that this batch will cover. You don't need to assign each file to a specific site up front; NetNada will suggest the best match automatically.

2

Drop in up to 100 files

Drag and drop a named batch of invoices, utility bills, fuel statements, or waste tickets. Mixed document types in the same batch are fine.

3

Let NetNada process in the background

While you continue working, NetNada extracts the data from each file, applies the correct regional emission factor (so a Sydney electricity invoice doesn't get matched to a Victorian grid factor), and suggests the most likely site assignment.

4

Review side-by-side

Open each processed file to see the original document alongside the extracted data. Confirm or correct the site assignment, edit any field that needs adjustment, retry any file that didn't process cleanly — all from the same Processing & Review screen.

5

Submit only what's ready

Use bulk controls to submit, retry, or delete files in groups. Get an in-app notification and an email summary the moment background processing finishes, so you never wait on a loading screen.

Why Use Multi-Node Workflows

Up to 100 files per batch

A 6× increase over previous limits. Quarterly reporting batches for distributed organisations can now go in a single session instead of dozens.

Reviewer time, not data-entry time

Skip per-file site assignment, manual field entry, and decimal-point error chasing. Spend the time reviewing what the system suggests, not typing it.

Region-aware emission factors

Each file is matched to the right regional / grid emission factor automatically. No more cross-checking that the Sydney warehouse used the right factor.

Side-by-side document review

Every extracted line sits next to the original invoice, so you can validate at a glance and edit anything that doesn't look right.

Background processing with notifications

Close the tab and get on with other work. NetNada emails you when the batch is ready to review and pings you in-app the moment processing finishes.

Bulk actions on the review queue

Select files in bulk to submit, retry, reassign sites, or delete. Filter and search across the queue to focus on what needs attention.

Who Uses Multi-Node Workflows

Sustainability managers at multi-site enterprises

Companies with many sites collecting quarterly invoices benefit most. Run a single batch covering the whole organisation, review centrally, report on time.

Sustainability consultants and advisors

Run batches across multiple client tenants, with AI-suggested matching reducing the per-client effort.

Finance and operations teams handing data to sustainability

The team uploading the data doesn't need to know the org structure cold — NetNada suggests it, and the sustainability team reviews.

Property and facilities teams running quarterly utility reviews

Drop in every utility invoice for the quarter and walk away. Come back to a reviewed, site-tagged batch.

Multi-Node Workflow Features

100-file batch limit

Upload up to 100 documents per named session.

Named batches

Give each upload a meaningful name (e.g. "Q1 2026 electricity invoices") so you can track it later.

AI-suggested node matching

Each file is matched to the most likely site or business unit automatically, taking into account address, invoice content, and historical patterns.

Region-aware emission factor selection

Factors are chosen based on the file's region, not a blanket default.

Side-by-side document review

Original invoice and extracted data shown together for fast validation.

In-line editing during review

Edit any extracted field, including site assignment, before submitting.

Bulk submit, retry, reassign, delete

Apply actions to many files at once from the queue.

In-app and email notifications on completion

Get notified when background processing finishes, with a direct shortcut back to the open workflow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Multi-Node Workflows

What's the maximum batch size?
100 files per session. For larger volumes, run multiple batches in parallel — they all process in the background.
Do I have to assign each file to a site before uploading?
No. NetNada's AI suggests the site assignment from the document content. You confirm or correct during review.
What if a file fails to process?
Failed files appear in the "Failed" bucket in the review queue. Open the file to see the reason, fix the underlying issue (or upload a clearer document), and retry — without affecting the rest of the batch.
Can I run multiple batches at once?
Yes. Background processing runs in parallel and you'll get a separate notification for each batch as it completes.
What document types are supported?
PDF invoices, scanned bills, utility statements, fuel receipts, waste-disposal tickets, and CSV/Excel exports. Mixed types in the same batch are supported.
How are regional emission factors selected?
NetNada matches the file's region or grid (e.g. NSW grid for a Sydney electricity invoice) and applies the right factor automatically. You can override during review if needed.

Upload 100 files. Review one batch.

Batch. Match. Review.

Move from one-file-at-a-time to enterprise-scale multi-site upload. NetNada matches every file to the right site and emission factor automatically — you just review and submit.
