The Emissions Tasks Manager serves as your centralised workspace for carbon inventory construction. Once you configure emission boundaries, the system generates specific data collection tasks for every scope, category, and facility—then tracks completion until your inventory is complete.
Automatic Task Generation
After configuring Emission Boundaries, the Task Manager populates automatically. Each configured emission source creates a corresponding task specifying what data is needed, from which facility, for which reporting period.
Monitor Overall Progress
Two key metrics guide your efforts: Assignment Progress (percentage of tasks assigned to team members) and Inventory Progress (completion status showing Completed, In Progress, and Skipped tasks as percentages).
Filter and Find Tasks
Search for specific data requirements. Filter by Category (Scope), Node (facility), or Status (Pending, In Progress, Complete). Use Reset Filters to clear applied filters and see all tasks.
Delegate Responsibilities
Click the Assignee column to designate team members for each task. The right person—whether facilities manager, finance analyst, or operations lead—receives clear responsibility for specific data.
Track Completion
As team members upload data through Carbon Data Uploader or direct submission, task statuses update automatically. Monitor progress toward complete inventory coverage.
