A few simple steps can help reduce your attendance emissions are:
Travelusing public transport or walk/cycle (if possible)!
Recycle and follow the instructions at. the bins across the stadium
Registering offset the carbon emissions of your attendance.
""NetNada is a step in the right direction! We know that sustainability commitments is something that we want to get better at. Netnada really helped us when we didn't know where to start."
The Melbourne Rebels have been working with NetNada to calculate their emissions and provide greater transparency to their operations.
Using NetNada's analysis, Melbourne Rebels found what they emitted in tonnes of CO2e (tCO2e) over the FY2021/2022 period and where it came from.
NetNada is a carbon accounting software that helps businesses drive sustainability faster and cheaper than other solutions.

A few simple steps to reduce your attendance emissions are:
We take in data from stakeholders of the event including Melbourne & Olympic Parks/AAMI Park, The Melbourne Rebels and of course you the attendees to understand what has been consumed, in what areas and to track how it was disposed of.
We break down the events emissions into scope 1, scope 2 & scope 3 emissions by looking at the data from electricity, fuel, gas, water, waste and recycling within the duration of the Super Rugby Round event. We then also calculate the travel and consumption of the teams and supporters to show the carbon emissions associated with each action. With all of this data we know the gross emissions associated with the event and the breakdowns.
